This limited edition up-cycled oak soap tray is made by Ronald John MacLean at the Boat Haven in Grimsay, Outer Hebrides and is designed as an accessory to either molagan or caoran.

It will posted Royal Mail, 2nd Class in a waterproof blue biobag (made of biodegradable plastic) to reach you safely within 4 working days of placing your order along with your felted soap.

Description

These hand crafted up-cycled oak soap dishes are made by Ronald John MacLean, resident boat builder and joiner on The Isle of North Uist. Ronald John manages the Grimsay Boat Haven, a home for outstanding examples of Grimsay boats and a place to learn about traditional boat building skills.

A limited edition of 40 will be produced for Christmas 2019. For each tray purchased £2.50 will go towards on-going development of the Haven, supporting the local fishing community and linking up with the community facilities at Ceann na h-Àirigh.
